Welcome to my website and blog. I am a multimedia journalism instructor at Santa Monica College in California. I am also a freelance journalist most recently producing multimedia feature and news stories for the hyperlocal site, Santa Monica Next. I am now working on two novels and was recently featured on a C-Span special about writers in Santa Monica.
I love traveling, especially when it involves offbeat locations, events and people. I have published six books with a focus on the unique people and places in my adopted state of California. My most recent work was San Francisco Curiosities.
